A Kratom leaf contains 1-6% Mitragynine. Molecular formula is C23H30N2O4 and 398.4953 g/mol is its molecular weight. This alkaloid mostly found on M. speciosa trees. It has some effects like stimulatory, antiseptic, and opiate-like effects. It has a little effect to our nerve system like some opium drugs.

7-hydroxymitragynine

It is another important component of kratom leaves. It can act like opioid agonistic active compounds. Naturally a kratom leaf contains 0.01-0.04% of 7-hydroxymitragynine.  Maybe it’s a little amount but its opioid agonistic activity makes it one of the most important alkaloid content of kratom.
